Rapid Bulk and Parallel Sample Drying
The CEM SAM 255™ is a unique instrument for rapidly drying samples up to 1kg in size. It can be used for moisture analysis or as a preparatory step for further analysis. Drying times are reduced from hours to minutes with the precision of a conventional oven method. Almost any material can be dried using microwave energy as the volatile component can be water or a wide range of polar organic compounds. The system also features a unique design avoiding problems with reflected power that prevents complete drying of samples in conventional microwave ovens.

Inorganic fertilizers show a difficult combustion behavior due to the lack of combustible organic material. Clean, economical and efficient metal digestions
The Environmental Express Hotblocks have revolutionized the way laboratories think of metals digestions. With these HotBlocks, laboratories can now perform digestions of samples under uniform temperature conditions up to 96 samples at a time. The HotBlock is made of a PTFE-coated graphite block within a Kydex® housing with no exposed metallic parts reducing corrosion potential from the highly acidic environment. The HotBlock® utilizes our disposable polypropylene digestion tubes for all EPA approved metals digestions, allowing laboratories to eliminate the washing of glassware.
